Alberta’s diverse terrain provides many opportunities for caving and climbing. These extreme methods of exploration require skill and expertise, and professional guides are recommended for more remote areas.

Because of the delicate nature of caves, spelunkers are asked follow guidelines outlined by the Canadian Caving Conservancy. Never enter a cave or climb alone, and always advise another person of your whereabouts. Above all, however, enjoy the experience of being where very few have been before.
