Glaciers

Have you seen the glaciers along the Icefields Parkway? Year by year they're melting, so visit while you can.

Start your glacier tour in Banff's Lake Louise. See Victoria Glacier and take the Trail to the Plain of Six Glaciers. Don't worry – the glacier may be smaller, but the Tea House chocolate cake is still the same!

At the Columbia Icefield area and Athabasca Glacier, visit the Icefield Information Centre, then take an Ice Explorer onto the glacier. Before heading into Jasper townsite, take a side trip to Mount Edith Cavell's Angel Glacier.
