Moose Mountain Horseback Adventures has been helping guests “find the wild” since 1991. For the past 36 years the MacLaine family, their dedicated staff, and their well cared for horses have been earning rave reviews. The M&M Ranch sits in the foothills of the Rockies, with Kananaskis Country to the south and west. Shorter rides are conducted on the ranch where riders are treated to outstanding views of snow-capped mountains while riding through narrow woodland trails and open rolling meadows. Longer rides go into Kananaskis, where hundreds of kilometres trails offer an incredible range of riding experiences. Moose Mountain offers day trips and overnight adventures—some as long as ten days. While day rides can be tailored to suit different skill levels, the multi-day treks have been designed for people with riding experience who are keen to explore Alberta's spectacular wilderness with a responsive horse.
