With 134 campsites (132 with power), Pembina River Provincial Park Campground has plenty of room and plenty to do. You’ll find it all 106 km (66 mi) west of Edmonton. The campground has picnic shelters, a playground and an interpretive viewpoint, but the real attraction is the Pembina River. The campground is set on the banks of the river, giving campers easy access to take a dip, launch a canoe or fish. The Pembina River is also a well-known place for tubing. There’s nothing quite like travelling upstream and then floating back down to the campground on a hot summer day. Life jackets are mandatory, and make sure you familiarize yourself with the two exit points. You'll have difficulty getting back to the campground if you miss them. You can book a trip with Pembina River Tubing if you need equipment and guidance.
