The beautiful location on the shores of Two Jack Lake make this one of Banff’s most popular campgrounds. That means the 74 sites—especially the lakefront ones—fill up fast and reservations are recommended. Two Jack Lakeside Campground is a rustic gem and, although it is unserviced, it does have drinking water, flush toilets, showers, fire pits, food storage lockers, and a cooking and picnic shelter. It’s perfect for tents and smaller RVs. Those looking for a bit more comfort should book one of Parks Canada’s oTENTiks. These structures are a mix of tent and A-frame cabin, and sleep up to six people. The oTENTiks are furnished, have lighting and parking. The campground is close to Lake Minnewanka and just 10 km (7 mi) from Banff. Campers who don’t want to walk or bike to town can hop on Roam Public Transit, which stops at the campground.
