Watipi Campground

Wapiti Campground offers individual and group camping, plus a secluded nature venue where outdoor fun is part of your gathering. The Watipi Campground is 3 km north of Blackfalds and suitable for groups, weddings, family reunions, birthday parties, or company functions. Settle into spacious campsites surrounded by foliage in your tent or RV, or book one of the tipis. Enjoy fantastic views, hiking, canoeing, and kayaking wherever you stay. Choose from the rustic lodge, the gazebo, or the great outdoors. The Lodge holds 150 people, with a built-in bar area and a large outdoor fire pit. There’s an adjacent building for food preparation and storage. The gazebo looks over Lacombe Lake, ideal for intimate functions. There’s a large field area for RV camping, and some sites have power and water. There is a sandy play area for children with flush toilets and showers nearby.
