Troubles at home prompt shy Charlie to escape to a rural fishing lodge in Georgia, where he is convinced to act the part of an exotic foreigner who speaks no English. His ruse sparks a hilarious web of misunderstandings as he inadvertently becomes privy to secrets and scandals that culminate in a showdown between the charming locals and the town villains.
