Located in the heart of Alberta's beautiful Lac Ste. Anne countryside, the Alberta Beach Heritage Village and Museum is a treasure trove of stories and artifacts that bring the past to life. From its humble beginnings in 1976, it has grown from a small community-driven project into one of the Alberta Museum Associations Recognized Museums. Today's visitors can explore the 11 historic buildings that include the original Canadian Northern Railway station and can discover the unique connection between the CNoR and Alberta Beach. The other historic buildings showcase and tell stories of residents how life was in the early 1900s. Alberta Beach Heritage Village and Museum also acknowledge the rich history and contributions of the indigenous communities living in the area. Open May long weekend - July 1st, weekends only from 12 - 5. July and August are open daily except Tuesdays, from 12 -5:00. albertabeachmuseum@gmail.com 780-346-8030
