Aleppo Savon makes 100 percent natural personal care products and is passionate in its quest to continually develop and expand its line of soaps, body butters, herbal oils, herbal teas, and honey. Its flagship product traditional Aleppo soap is made with olive oil, laurel berry oil, water, and lye. It can be used daily for washing and shampooing, as a face mask, as shaving cream, and for bathing babies. Founder Abdulfatah Sabouni is a fourth-generation soap maker. Even his last name means soap maker. For Sabouni, who had to flee his home and soap business in Syria and come to Canada as a refugee, making the world-famous Aleppo soap is his way of giving back to a country that has given him and his family so much.
