Saddle up and ride the Rockies west of Diamond Valley. Anchor D Guiding and Outfitting gives visitors a unique way to experience beautiful Kananaskis Country just southwest of Calgary. Guests can choose from full-day (5-6 hour), half-day (3 hour) and 2 hour trail rides. Full day rides include lunch and snack. Those with a little more time and a thirst for adventure can book a family-friendly weekend or a four- or seven-day adventure ride. On longer trips, your gear travels in a covered wagon, making your ride a little easier. Groups are kept to a maximum of 12 riders, so everyone gets a personalized experience. In snowy months check their sleigh rides! If you want to experience Kananaskis Country on your own two feet, Anchor D also rents two log cabins. The cabins sleep five and six people. Both have fully equipped kitchens, and guests are responsible for cooking their meals. Anchor D is open year-round. Be sure to book your trail ride at least 24 hours in advance.
