Annex Ale Project

Annex Ale Project was created with a mission of developing new and creative North American-style beers that could define the brewery as an innovative player in the exploding Calgary craft beer community. With close proximity to transit and bike paths, the Annex taproom is casual, airy, and inviting, showcasing a sleek black bar set against a white wooden backdrop. Erica used her background in food to curate a small but interesting snack menu featuring locally made Hop Chips and Mediterranean salty string cheese. On any given day in the taproom, the Annex selection of core beers will be available on tap, along with a rotating roster of seasonal offerings, which is where the true innovation can be found. The brewery rolls out a new beer every few weeks, offering beer drinkers something new to taste and constantly changing the conversation in craft beer culture. In addition to beer, Annex also creates delicious non-alcoholic, ingredient-driven sodas, including Ginger Beer and Root Beer.
