Visitors to Battle Lake Park Campground will find everything they need to enjoy the great outdoors. The pet-friendly operation offers showers, fire pits and firewood. Younger campers will enjoy the playground. Of course, campers also enjoy Battle Lake Park and the lake itself. The park offers lots of room to explore, while the lake is ideal for canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, boating and water-skiing. A boat launch at the campground makes it easy to get out on the water. Of course, you can also beat the heat by getting in the water and going for a swim. The campground has 46 sites and can accommodate RVs and tents. The park and campground are 55 km (34 mi) west of the town of Wetaskiwin in central Alberta along major roads. All this means it is a popular spot. As a result, reservations are recommended.
