Find abundant nature and recreation opportunities in northern Alberta. Beaver Lake Provincial Recreation Area sits on the northeast shore of Beaver Lake, about 6 km (4 mi) from Lac La Biche off Highway 36. The recreation area is home to Beaver Lake Campground and nine group camping areas. The campground has serviced and unserviced sites and wheelchair accessible washrooms. The group camping areas offer up to 10 sites and basic amenities. The campground also has a store that stocks camping staples. Beaver Lake is a recreational hotspot. It offers great power boating and water-skiing. When the breeze picks up, the windsurfers and sailboats hit the water.
