Birch Mountain Outfitter offers hunting and fishing tours in Fort McMurray. Any clients flying in from their point of entry to Fort McMurray, would have one of the Birch Mountain Outfitter staff meet with them with their luggage, rifles, etc. at the airport and proceed to a hotel for you to pick up any last minute needs and rest the night before your journey north with your guide. Depending on your hunt season, that will determine how they get up to the camp, The hunting area is very remote for hunting and fishing. Trophy Bull Moose average 50 to 62 inch spread, very large Black Bear just under 7 feet and timber wolfs. Fishing is a great experience. They catch Northern Pike up to 30 pounds. Camp is a tent camp. Sleeping tents have wooden floors and wood burning stoves for cold nights, beds with 4 inch foam mattress ,worm sleeping bag and pillow. Each Tent will sleep 4 clients. There is a cook tent to eat in. Enjoy evenings around the camp fire and watch the Northern lights. Beaning a very remote area, the hunting is extremely good for Black Bear in Spring or Bull Moose hunting in the calling season in the Fall. A trophy hunting of a lifetime. They provide a variety of full homecooked meals.
