Boiling Oar Brewing Company launched as a small-batch, craft brewery in Calgary, Alberta. They launched in March 2016 with the intention of producing approachable and flavourful beer. They aim to craft brews that everyone can appreciate, not just the "craft beer drinker". They are a small, locally-owned company whose objective is to make the best beer possible while impacting our community in a positive way, day in and out.Calgary is known to have some of the highest quality water in the world, in addition to their media filtration, it is the ideal water chemistry for brewing. Since they are located in the heart of barley country, their beer is crafted with the highest quality malt and they even source some of their hops from Southeastern Alberta. Come by the taproom to say hi and give their approachable and flavorful beers a whirl.
