Though it is close to the Banff townsite, you will feel like you are far away as you explore this forest and meadow trail. Keep an eye out for elk and birds of prey as you climb from the river's edge to the Hoodoos viewpoint. Bow River Trail is a quiet riverside trail, that is mostly paved with many benches to allow you to take in the scenery. Bow River Trail is wheelchair-friendly from the Muskrat Street access to the northwest end of this trail. You can connect with the Hoodoos Trail which climbs the mountain and offers you popular viewpoints.
