The Cactus Coulee Campground has a lot going for it. To start, it’s the closest campground to the Royal Tyrrell Museum. It also offers free Wi-Fi, full bathrooms, free showers and a concession. All the campsites are pull-thru and feature 30-amp power. Reservations are recommended. Of course, Cactus Coulee Campground also sits beside Cactus Coulee Fun Park, where the fun comes in all sizes. Kids and adults alike can test their skills on the 18-hole mini-golf course. (Kids under six golf for free.) Those who feel the need for speed should take a few laps around the go-kart track. The vehicles on offer include Bobcats, Super Tomcats and two-seater Jaguars. Helmets must be worn and are available onsite. (Various height and age restrictions also apply.) The Eurobungy lets campers go for a bounce — or a flip — while remaining safely harnessed.
