The Calgary Tower offers a truly spectacular 360-degree view of Alberta's largest city. The foothills and the majestic Canadian Rockies roll out to the west while the picturesque prairies stretch to the east. Of course, visitors also get a good view of Calgary’s downtown and skyline. The fearless can step onto the glass floor for a bird’s-eye view of the action 191 m (626 ft) below. A free multimedia tour can be accessed from mobile devices. It explores the city’s landmarks and its history. Sky 360 restaurant completes a full revolution every hour, making dinner both delicious and informative. The extreme wide-screen theatre room features an original short film and Travel Alberta's most recent fly-through video capturing breathtaking footage of the province. Admission is included with all elevation ticket purchases. A gift shop at the base of the tower is the place to find one-of-a-kind souvenirs.
