Castle River Bridge Campground is a charming little campground located in Castle Provincial Park, about 36 km (22 mi) southwest of Pincher Creek in southern Alberta. The campground has 25 serviced sites, and is open from mid-May to late September. Reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance of your arrival. The campground has pit toilets, firepits and drinking water that can be drawn from standpipes throughout the grounds. Perhaps the greatest feature of Castle River Bridge Campground is its location on the banks of the Castle River. The fishing is excellent, and there are several picturesque hikes around the campground. The river can be challenging for paddlers, but if you have experience in moving water, it is an absolute playground. The area also offers good birdwatching, so be sure to pack your binoculars.
