Chatsworth Farm is a traditional mixed-family farm in east-central Alberta, about two hours east of Edmonton. Rick, whose grandparents farmed but whose parents did not, started the farm in 1993 and married Johanna the following year. They named the farm after the old Chatsworth school district in which it's located, and you can see the pioneer one-room schoolhouse from the front porch. They grow grain and legume crops, alfalfa, and raise beef cattle, sheep, turkeys, ducks, and chickens for eggs and meat, on more than 2,000 acres of beautiful rolling parkland.
