The Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre serves as a focal point for Calgary’s Chinese community. Inside, simply look up, you’ll find the striking blue, yellow and green brocaded ceiling. It is a smaller-scale replica of the Heavenly Temple in Beijing’s Forbidden City. As a popular event venue, the centre dedicates time to carrying out educational and cultural programs to enrich the lives of all Calgarians. It works to promote Chinese heritage through events, programs, and workshops involving the Chinese languages, martial arts and wellness, arts and culture, and sports. All are welcome to attend.
