Colossi's Coffee House

Colossi's Coffee House in High River serves coffee in a welcoming spot where travellers can pause and connect with a local family story. Owners Dwayne and Patti Johnson named the coffee shop after Dwayne’s grandfather, Jack Colossi. Jack immigrated to Canada from Italy after serving with the Royal Italian Army, then made his way west and married his love, Margaret. His journey gives the coffee house a personal connection to family, heritage and the independent spirit of Alberta’s Foothills. Open since 2003, the coffee house reflects the Johnsons’ long-standing place in the local community. Dwayne and Patti also own the Whistle Stop Café, adding another chapter to their High River hospitality story.
