Crane Lake West M.D. Park

Situated in Alberta’s “Lakeland” district, 30 km (19 mi) from the city of Cold Lake, the warm waters of Crane Lake invite all-day play in the water. At any of the 24 powered campsites, you’re close to the water with all the activities that make summer days memorable. Frolic on a large beach, slip into the waters with your canoe or skim the surface behind your motorboat. This is fishing country, so there’s a spot to fillet the day’s catch, a day-use area to prepare fresh catch for dinner and access to a nearby concession for treats. Fire pits and firewood round out your perfect day of camping. If you have a day to spare, you can swing over to Cold Lake for world-class fishing and birdwatching on pristine waters.
