This 17-km day hike is considered one of the best in Canada. The adventure begins at a trailhead reached only by a 15-minute boat trip from Waterton’s dock. The trail involves treks through forests and across the rocky mountainside, and possible encounters with golden eagles and mountain goats. You’ll also climb a steel ladder through a cave to reach an alpine lake, and pass by five different waterfalls. The trail brings you back to Crypt Landing where you can board a boat for the village.
