Ridge Wilderness Adventures in Elk Island National Park can help you get the most out of your visit. To be specific, they can help you get out on the waters of Astotin Lake, where you can get a new perspective on the park 48 km (30 mi) east of Edmonton. You might even get a unique angle on birds, bison and other wildlife as you explore the shoreline. Ridge has canoes, kayaks (single and tandem) and paddle boards for rent by the hour. Rentals are first-come, first-served; reservations are only available for those renting at least five vessels for at least three hours.
