Grindstone Theatre

Grindstone Theatre is a non-profit theatre arts organization based in Edmonton, Alberta. The Grindstone Comedy Theatre and Bistro is located off Whyte and offers live improv, stand-up, sketch, and musical comedy performances Wednesday to Sunday along with community events such as open mic, karaoke, freestyle nights, and dance events while offering food and drink in the Grindstone Bistro. Grindstone also offers education programs for all ages in the performing arts, provides corporate entertainment, and produces a season of mainstage plays and musicals. Past productions include The 11 O'clock Number The Improvised Musical, Urinetown The Musical, ThunderCATs The Musical and Jason Kenney's Hot Boy Summer The Musical. Grindstone also produces annual festivals such as The Grindstone Comedy Festival, Disco In The Park, Mural Massive Art Festival and Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival Venues.
