Haunted Lake Golf Club Campground

At the Haunted Lakes Golf Club & Campground, a lost golf ball or a missed putt might be the least of your worries. Just kidding — there is no evidence of paranormal events at the campground, which is about 55 km (34 mi) east of Red Deer in central Alberta. There is, however, a nine-hole golf course and plenty of other recreational opportunities. The campground is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors, with powered and unpowered sites that can accommodate tents and RVs. There is also a group camping area and an overflow area. The campground is close to the lake and the golf course, which offers stay-and-golf packages. Kids will enjoy the playground, and everyone can take a dip or head out on the water in a canoe or kayak.
