Don’t let the name fool you. Hidden Valley Ski Resort offers year-round fun in Cypress Hills Provincial Park in the southeast corner of the province. The winter season generally runs from mid-December to the end of March. When the snow flies, Hidden Valley offers nine runs for all levels of skier. It features a magic carpet, T-bar, handle tow and a quad chair. You can also book a lesson or rent equipment at the hill. Hidden Valley is open from Wednesday to Sunday during the ski season. A day lodge at the base of the hill has a café and a brown bag lunch area. When the snow melts, mountain bikers take to the slopes for challenging ascents and thrilling descents. There are many campgrounds in the area, and the nearby town of Elkwater offers accommodation, shops, restaurants and plenty of fun things to do.
