Welcome to Homeplace Ranch - Horse Awareness, Day Riding and Riding Lessons. Homeplace Ranch offers a variety of experiences including trail rides, lessons, awareness programs, corporate retreats and more. Homeplace Ranch also now offers on-site accommodation and meeting/retreat space. The newly renovated Meadowview Suite is perfect for a small group or family, with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a full kitchen, a living and dining room, as well as laundry. The lower level has a south-facing walk-out patio and coffee area directly looking onto our horses’ overnight pasture. The historic 1926 farmhouse and previous Homeplace Ranch guest lodge has also been newly renovated. Accommodating up to 11 people, the Horseman’s Lodge features five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, a great room with a living room, kitchen and dining area, as well as an office. The large west-facing deck features a fire pit. Since 1974, Mac Makenny, a passionate horseman, has owned and operated the Homeplace Ranch, offering his special attention during day rides, lessons, and horse awareness opportunities.
