The Indigenous Artist Market Collective (I.A.M.) has more than 70 First Nations, Metis, and Inuit artists who promote authenticity. Artists, creatives, traditional knowledge holders, performers, and entrepreneurs share their culture, stories, and knowledge with the world around them. They practice a multitude of mediums, including painting, stained glass, photography, traditional crafts, fashion design, and contemporary arts. Founded in 2018, the I.A.M. has a main base at the Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market every weekend. They partner with many local visitor attractions, including a pop-up store in Fort Edmonton Park’s Indigenous Peoples Experience Building. You'll also find members at festivals, events, conferences, and private venues. You can commission instructors and public and motivational speakers to bring an authentic Indigenous experience to your event.
