Ironwood Stage & Grill is a 150-seat live music venue that puts on over 400 shows a year, more than any other venue in Alberta. They cater to original performances and local, provincial, national & international artists. Throughout their 16-year history, they have routinely paid out approximately $400,000.00 CDN a year to musicians. They also support every high school youth band in the city. Further, they host, at no charge, several non-profit music organizations as well as over a dozen charity organizations. In addition, The Ironwood employs over 17 local staff whose main objective is to contribute to the presentation of excellent live, original music. Lastly, The Ironwood is a major partner with many of the marquis festivals in Calgary including Music Mile, JazzYYC, Block Heater, Calgary Blues Fest, Bow Valley Music Club, CADME, Westwinds Music Society, and other partners including Stagehand for live streaming.
