Thank you for your support during Jasper’s recovery. - The Jasper Park Information Centre, built in 1913-14, is one of the earliest and finest examples of rustic design in the national parks. Designed by Edmonton architect, A.M. Calderon, the Jasper Information Centre was intended to serve as a landmark and focal point for the town. Built in the rustic design tradition utilizing locally quarried stone and timber, the building set a design example for subsequent construction within the townsite. This vision of a unified architectural theme within the park was novel when first expressed by S. Maynard Rogers, Jasper's first park superintendent. The town Information Centre is open from 9 am to 5 pm daily, and in-person service for Park Entry Passes, and Fishing Permits and information is available at the Information Centre porch.
