Kingmik Dog Sled Tours! The only company in the Bow Valley to offer tours in Banff National Park. The trails travel through the stunning landscape of Lake Louise, home of Moraine Lake and the iconic Chateau Lake Louise. They are 45 minutes from Banff, and their staging area is across the valley from Lake Louise Ski Resort. With some of the highest mountains clustered in and around the area, you will have the opportunity to view towering peaks and blue-white glaciers from the comfort of your cozy sled. They offer a full 10 mile tour (1.5 hour) to the Continental Divide and back, as well as a short ½ hour tour for those who would prefer just a taster. They are a small company, focusing on guest experience and dog care. All their dogs are cherished individuals and beloved members of their family. They strive to ensure that each dog is living it's best life, and their elders are as loved as the pups. Their guest-to-guide ratio is 2:1. They do not seat strangers together. While every sled is guided, there is the opportunity to drive the team alongside your guide for part of your Divide Tour. They run, on average, only 4 sleds per tour time. All the guides are dedicated adventure seekers who relish the opportunity to share their life stories with you. Guests can expect to finish their tour with an incredible lifelong memory... new knowledge of the sled dog world as a whole, as well as acquiring a whole bunch of new four- legged friends.
