In the Visitor Information Centre, staff can help visitors find local attractions, what to see and do, and locate area resources. Visitors can take a break and find Kneehill history in the local Museum, its people, places, and events over time, all relating to the great plains of Southern Alberta. Learn about its unique area intersected by a handful of creeks with buffalo jumps and many bridges. Staff at the Museum and Visitor Information Centre will guide you through an extensive collection of artifacts representing the Kneehill people, from First Nations through European settlement, with stories collected by local historians. Climb aboard a CN caboose, experience the station master's domain in the GTP-CN Station House, and view equipment that demonstrates how farmers dealt with extreme weather and farming conditions in Kneehill County. Staff have extensive area knowledge and are ready to map out local tours, features, local resources, and services.
