If you cross the mighty Peace River by the ferry you will find nestled along its naturally wooded east bank a historical logging site transformed into a well-maintained park. Within the La Crete Ferry Campground lie day-use areas, both powered and non-powered private sites for afternoon picnics or overnight camping, playgrounds, horseshoe pits, beach volleyball courts, open lawns for other outdoor sports and activities, and scenic walking trails.
