The Olds Historical Society operates the Mountain View Museum and Archives. The museum is located in the former AGT Building on 50th Street (a registered municipal heritage site) which is owned and maintained by the Town of Olds. Mountain View Museum has received the Recognized Museum designation from the Alberta Museums Association. The museum earned this designation after demonstrating its continued commitment to meeting or exceeding standards of museum practice.
