Open May to August from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Northern Alberta Historical and Railway Museum is located on the northwest side of McLennan on Highway 2. It is also home to the Kimiwan Birdwalk and Interpretive Centre. The Museum was designed with different rooms all constructed with 70-year-old rough lumber from an old local sawmill. The rooms depict the NAR station, a store, a hospital, a school/library, and a church all displaying artifacts from the early 1900s.
