Park Lake Provincial Park is located in southern Alberta, 18 km north of Lethbridge, and surrounds an irrigation reservoir built in 1929 (Park Lake). Here you’ll find a beach area and plenty of water activities (like fishing, boating, and windsurfing), as well as hiking and mountain biking. Birders will enjoy the many bird species who make the lake, and its surrounding wetlands and prairie, home. Keep an eye out for pelicans and red-winged blackbirds.
