Welcome to Peace Island Resort. The most scenic spot on the Peace! This Resort is a family-run business on a beautiful island. They are located roughly 70 km downstream from the town of Peace River, and about 10 km upstream from the mouth of the White mud. The 27-acre island boasts 8 small cabins, 4 of which can be rented, a screened-in rec room, a cookhouse with a dining hall, bar, and much more! They are up and operational during the summer months. Opening and closing dates vary depending on the weather and river conditions. The kitchen offers a menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a snack bar and they are licensed to serve alcohol. There is much to see and do on and around the island including hiking, campfires, horseshoes, fishing, and swimming of course. No worries if you don’t have a boat to get there, as they offer chauffeured boat rides to the island.
