In the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, about 32 km (20 mi) east of Grande Cache, Pierre Grey’s Lakes Provincial Park offers picturesque lakeside camping in a spruce and aspen forest. Fish for rainbow and brook trout and canoe or kayak on one of the lakes. Hike or mountain bike and watch for wildlife on the trails. Return in winter for cross-country skiing, ice fishing, and snowshoeing.
