There’s nothing better than a quick dip on a hot summer day. A swim in the Queen Elizabeth Outdoor Pool is an ideal way to cool down and relax. The Kinsmen Spray Park gives young kids a chance to beat the heat too. The pool sits in Edmonton’s river valley and provides an oasis for those cycling or walking the trails. It’s also just across the river from downtown, making it easy to reach for those staying in the core. Better still, it’s close to the Kinsmen Sports Centre, pitch & putt, children’s playground and the John Walter Museum. Visitors can bring their food and beverages (no alcohol, containers must be sealed) to enjoy on the sun deck. The pool has two diving boards and a zero-depth entry. Lockers are available, along with an on-site concession.
