This museum was the original RCMP detachment showing RCMP history and regalia from Members in the area dating from 1929. There are WWI veteran artifacts and historic pictures, early hospital equipment from the ’30s and ’40s on display, and photos of all members of Alberta’s first Legislative Assembly in 1905. Also, there are handicrafts, native beadwork, photo albums and scrapbooks completed by early residents of the area, a variety of sewing machines, musical instruments, spinning wheels, cameras and an impressive collection of vintage clothing. Open weekly from May to September, from Tuesday to Saturday.
