Ridge Park Campground sits on the shores of Milk River Ridge Reservoir, about 60 km (37 mi) southeast of Lethbridge. The artificial lake covers 63 square km (24 square mi), so there is plenty of room for boating, paddling, swimming and windsurfing. It’s a popular spot for a day trip, or you can stay overnight at Ridge Park Campground. It has 60 sites (37 with power) and four camp kitchens. There’s a boat launch, beach and designated swimming and fishing areas for fun on or in the water. The dry-land fun includes volleyball, basketball, horseshoe pits, a playground and a grassy picnic area. The campground canteen sells grocery staples alongside candy and ice cream. It also stocks propane, firewood, fishing rods and tackle. Ridge Park Campground is open from mid-April to mid-October.
