Riverbend Campground

Riverbend is a family campground with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Family is central to everything they do. They are family-owned and operated and are a kid-friendly campground. Their unique location on the banks of the Sheep River encompasses a diversity of habitats: parkland, marshland and river. This means they have a diverse range of campsites and each visit can seem like a unique experience. Visitors can choose from camping at full hookup RV sites (50 or 30 amp) both back-in and pull right through to tenting sites with no on-site services. Riverbend is well equipped with clean modern washrooms, laundry, wi-fi and an onsite store. If you need milk, bread, ice, firewood or propane it’s all here. Put your feet up, or participate in an activity like mini-golf or paddle boating. Your active youngsters will enjoy the many playgrounds and if you travel with their bicycles kids enjoy the flat terrain. Your family can also rent one of the peddle carts to tour around the property. The big kids might make use of the horseshoe pitches on site. Their philosophy is to live in harmony with nature and being close to nature is what attracts people to camping. Depending on your campsite, you might catch glimpses of wildlife out your window. Campers also enjoy walks along one of the three well-maintained Nature Trails and view a variety of birds and animals- deer, beaver, and muskrat.
