Rundle Park is a natural oasis in northeast Edmonton, offering an artificial lake in search of a summer paddling spot. Paddleboats and hydrobikes are available for rent at the boathouse, directly behind the Family Centre. The paddleboats, which can be rented for 20 to 40 minutes, accommodate two people, plus a small child in the middle. Single-rider hydro bikes are available for 20-, 40- or 60-minute rentals for those aged 14 and over. If you want to maximize your time on the water, ask about the half-day rental. Pets are welcome on the paddleboats, provided they have life jackets. Bookings are recommended for groups of 10 or more. The boathouse is also the place for mini-golf admission, firewood sales, horseshoe rentals and disc golf equipment.
