Travers Dam campground is in Travers Reservoir Provincial Recreation Area, 18 km south of Vulcan on Hwy. 23, 32 km east on Hwy. 529, and south on Range Rd. 205 A. Experience the vastness of the prairie and camp alongside the reservoir. Sites in open grasslands have expansive views in all directions. Canoe, sail, or fish on the reservoir, and enjoy the endless skies. This is a wonderful place for stargazing on clear nights.
