When visiting the Wabamun & District Museum, tourists will see many artifacts, stories and pictures that tell of these early tourists who would travel to Wabamun by train for picnics, boat excursions on the lake and summer vacations. The Museum is housed in the United Church building built in 1934. The exhibits not only tell the story of early tourists but also the hard work of early pioneers who were farmers, coal miners, mink farmers, commercial fishermen, and more.
