Walterdale Theatre, founded in 1958, is one of Western Canada’s oldest amateur theatre groups. The Edmonton-based community theatre is committed to the production of engaging and vibrant works and providing its member volunteers opportunities to participate in all aspects of theatre production. Walterdale Theatre stages its productions in the Strathcona No. 1 Fire Hall, which was built in 1910 and is a designated Provincial Historic Resource.
