Visitors to Waterton Lakes National Park in southern Alberta will have plenty to do. Stop by the Waterton Lakes National Park Visitor Centre to learn how to make the most of your visit. The centre is open daily and is well-stocked with maps of the town and park. You can also purchase a park pass if you missed buying one at the gate. Staff can help with all your questions and are happy to suggest places to visit, hikes to try — the park has 200 km (125 mi) of trails) — and even let you know when parking at popular sites tends to fill up. They can also answer questions about entering the United States from Waterton, seasonal road closures and even provide the small wedding gathering registration form if you plan to get married in the national park.
