There is a lot going on at West Edmonton Mall, North America’s second largest mall. It encompasses 5.3 million square feet or 48 city blocks. Put a different way, it’s larger than Vatican City. But the best way to truly appreciate WEM’s size is to visit it. Check out the waterpark, blacklight mini golf, escape room, Galaxyland amusement park, the ice palace or one of the other attractions. Of course, with some 800 stores, the shopping is also pretty good. The Lego Store is popular with families and kids, while anchor tenants include H&M, Hudson’s Bay, Simons and even a Toyota dealership. There are plenty of eating options that range from fast food to fine dining. Take your visit to the next level by booking a theme room in the onsite Fantasyland Hotel.
